Friendship Bracelets

⭐ Easy⏱️ 30 minutes🎨 Jewelry

Design and make your own friendship bracelets to wear, keep, or give to a friend. Mix colors and patterns to make it feel completely yours.

🧺 Materials

  • Colorful beads or craft pieces
  • Elastic cord or string
  • Child-safe scissors
👀 Before you start: Look at the finished picture. Read Step 1 only. Do Step 1. Then read Step 2. Keep going one step at a time. If a step says “ask a grown-up,” stop and get help before you continue.

📝 How to Make It

  1. 1Put the beads and string on a tray or table.
  2. 2Ask a grown-up to cut one piece of string.
  3. 3Tie a big knot near one end so beads cannot slide off.
  4. 4Pick up one bead.
  5. 5Push the string through the bead's hole.
  6. 6Slide the bead down to the knot.
  7. 7Keep adding ONE bead at a time.
  8. 8Stop when the jewelry is the right length.
  9. 9Ask a grown-up to tie the two ends together tightly.
  10. 10Pull gently on the knot to make sure it will not come apart.
