Paper Butterfly
⭐ Easy⏱️ 20 minutes🎨 Paper Crafts
Turn ordinary paper into a paper butterfly by folding, cutting, shaping, and decorating it. A fun project for practicing careful hands and creativity.
🧺 Materials
- Paper
- Crayons or markers
- Scissors
- Glue
👀 Before you start: Look at the finished picture. Read Step 1 only. Do Step 1. Then read Step 2. Keep going one step at a time. If a step says “ask a grown-up,” stop and get help before you continue.
📝 How to Make It
- 1Put one sheet of colored paper on the table.
- 2Draw one big butterfly wing on the left side.
- 3Draw another big butterfly wing on the right side.
- 4Ask a grown-up to help cut out the butterfly shape.
- 5Cut or draw a long skinny body for the middle.
- 6Glue the body between the two wings.
- 7Draw or glue spots, lines, and shapes onto the wings.
- 8Add two thin paper antennae at the top.
- 9Leave the butterfly flat until the glue is dry.
