- Glue
- Child-safe scissors
- Tape
👀 Before you start: Look at the finished picture. Read Step 1 only. Do Step 1. Then read Step 2. Keep going one step at a time. If a step says “ask a grown-up,” stop and get help before you continue.
📝 How to Make It
- 1Put a clean sock on your hand.
- 2Move your thumb away from your fingers. The fold between them is the puppet's mouth.
- 3Take the sock off and put it on the table.
- 4Put two eyes above the mouth. Move them until you like their spot.
- 5Glue the eyes on.
- 6Ask a grown-up to help cut paper or felt for ears, hair, teeth, or a tongue.
- 7Glue those pieces onto the sock.
- 8Leave the puppet on the table until the glue is completely dry.
- 9Put the sock back on your hand and make your puppet talk.
